Oh wow, I missed you all! How is everyone? Any exciting weekend plans?

Nothing much on my part. I've submitted my first original story for publication, so that's out of the way! (I don't have my hopes up for getting published, but it was nice to break the ice, right?)

The rest of this weekend, I need to finish all the music mixes I signed up for, and slap some polish on my femgenficathon entry. (At least it's written! It...doesn't go anywhere...but it's written!)

I've got my two entries for sherlockmas's Summer of Sherlock done and emailed to Rachel. (I am kind of wondering who the hell I am anymore, finishing all of this stuff ahead of deadlines...I think I have the chatroom to thank!)

So how's tricks? Wanna link me to something fun/funny since I don't have much going on this weekend?

ETA: For interest, and my own reference, here's the prompts I'm working on the for the music mix exchange:

Hey do you feel like cheering me on for sending out a bunch of wwoofing/helpx "applications" this weekend? I always stress ridiculously. We can ooh and aah at all the options there are and then I need someone to tell me NOW EMAIL THEM ALREADY GO GO GO.

YES! I am off for lunch/afternoon hanging out with a friend, and then I'm pretty much around for the rest of the weekend. We'll work out a chat date when I get back!

HAI FRIEND HAI! *waves* I have been away from the internet a lot myself lately - I was taking two classes over the summer and had both of my finals AND started a new job all at the same time, MADNESS.

Those music mixes sound awesome, I can't wait to see what you come up with! I think I picked the "fucked up love songs" prompt, which describes like, half of my iTunes library, lol.

Your first submission, that is so cool! Congratulations! I hope you get it published! :D :D
