It's hard for me to come up with a list of five, as my crushes tend to be rather intense and focused, so it's hard for me to have more than one or two at a time. :P BUT: in general, these folks push my buttons in all the right ways:

Mos Def: He was Ford Prefect. I occasionally steal his lyrics when writing Haiku. (Quiet dog bite hard = 5 syllables.) He
is a damn good-looking man.



Alan Tudyk: Turns out that, for me, it's a very short trip from "this man is intensely odd-looking" to "I must bear his
children". Plus he does silly things like pose with dinosaurs and wear ridiculous cowboy outfits in fake pornos. And he
plays a convincingly creepy villain. That's marriage material, in my book.

Jenny Lewis: She was the lead singer of my favorite ever indie band: Rilo Kiley. Not as into her solo stuff, but she's still
amazing. She's got an incredible voice. She's frickin' adorable. I've been crushing on her hard for years now.



Karen Gillan: Do yourself a favor and spend about an hour (or two) just staring at pictures of this woman: she is
amazingly pretty. (Try Karen Gillan Web, from whence I snagged most of these photos.) She's also charmingly dorky
in all of her interviews. I ♥ her.



Arthur Darvill:: What's not to love? Just look at that ridiculous pheasant sweater! And the grandpa glasses! And he's a
musician! And...I love him a ridiculous amount, Ok???

N.B.: I got kind of carried away with making graphics for these. Story of my life, right? Why not spend two hours of your life on something completely frivolous and unneccesary. *sigh* Anyway, I got more into it as I went along, so you can kinda tell which ones I started with. Sorry Arthur: I still love you best!

Just have to say I 100% ADORE all of your crushes. I mainly watch Hitchhiker's Guide over and over for Mos now, haha. I heard Tudyk is supposed to be on a new show (i think ABC). I don't care what the plot is, I'll watch anything for him.

Oh God, Arthur is HAWT in all of those production images from Faustus! Period Costumes + Charmingly Nerdy Hipster Guy = apple_pathways is going to need a few moments alone.

I cheat and color my hair red, but it hasn't been red red in ages. I must change that! (And yes, I totally have a thing for redheads.)

If Tudyk is on a show, you must remind me to watch it! He's been good in everything I've seen him in so far.

(Though I will say that David Dixon remains Ford Prefect in my mind. Probably because I saw the Hitchhiker's Guide TV show before the movie came out, and he was one of its main redeeming qualities.)

Right now, I'm fighting the urge to redo the ones I didn't spend as much time on. It just doesn't seem fair that Arthur's isn't as nice as the others... (But thanks! That comment has already made the whole endeavor worth it. ;)

I haven't seen the Hitchhiker's TV show! I'll have to track it down. And finish Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

I use GIMP: basically a free, open source Photoshop analog. Glad you enjoyed them! Now I don't feel so weird spending two hours making them. :P
