First: to all the lovely and talented Sherlock writers and artists on my flist:

Anyone interested in being a pinch hitter? Rachel and I are winding down our holiday fic exchange (sherlockmas) and filling those last few assignments that didn't get done. If you're willing to be a Good Samaritan and help us send off gifts to those who have already given without receiving anything in return, I will love you forever and ever! (And show you my appreciation with a gift of your own.)

If this is something you think you can accomplish (by February 14), go to this post: you'll find a list of participants who need pinch hitters and a links to their gift requests at the bottom of the post.

Finally: to all writers of Sherlock and Doctor Who:

Why are you not signing up for dark_fest??? There are so many good prompts out there to claim! Why not go read the final list of prompts, and then go claim one here.

This is a fest about difficult subject matter, moral ambiguities, unhappy endings, no win scenarios, secrets, lies and shames, psychological messes, a look into the void, bad deeds, bad thoughts, bad decisions, twists of the canon mood or themes, pure evil, or good intentions paving the road to hell.
Prompt claiming runs from January 29th - February 8th, with finished fics due by March 15th.

To answer your first questions: I will, and you can! That sounds fantastic. Are you familiar with Google docs? I find it a really convenient way to beta other people's work. If you are, then just upload it and give me access (I'll PM you my email address in a minute). Otherwise, just email me the story and I'd be happy to look it over!

When your story is finished, you can post it directly to the comm! All that's necessary to include in your name, the name of the person you wrote for, a rating, and any warnings that may apply.

I am absolutely NOT sick of you! You should see the PMs I send to Rachel over this kind of stuff. I can appreciate thoroughness in others. ;) Any more questions, just let me know!
