In trying to kill time before birthday funtimes, I am FINALLY drinking the bottle of chianti classico my parents brought me back from Italy two years ago. Let me tell you: it is STRONG STUFF! I am no lightweight, and this wine is kicking my ass!

A delicious Italian restaurant called Palio! I always go there for my birthday: for the fantastic food, and the equally fantastic birthday discount! I'm not sure what I'll get, but I'm definitely in the mood for some mussels!

Ooohh mussels, that does sound pretty awesome. I ate as much seafood as I could get my hands on when I was home for christmas. It's hard to get the good stuff here where everything has to be flown in.
