Doctor Who: The Power of Three

Too many thoughts. This calls for bullet points.



In no particular order:

• "What do you think we do when you're not here?"
  "I imagine mostly kissing..." (LIKE A NINE YEAR-OLD, I LOVE IT!)
  
• I've said it before, I'll say it again: The Ponds have the best bed hair. ♥
  
• Speaking of hair, they have given Rory grown-up hair this series, and it is all kinds of adorable.
  
• Amy's hair is still the best ever, however.
  
• The Doctor has nice hair, too.
  
• I think I've covered all the hair now.
  
• UNIT! And Rory in his pants. Going to be watching that gif on a non-stop loop for the rest of my life.
  
• Kate Stewart needs to be a recurring character. Needs to be.
  
• Amy was so gorgeous at her and Rory's anniversary party.
  
• PERIOD COSTUMES. AMY AND RORY IN PERIOD COSTUMES. I NEED ALL THE PERIOD COSTUME PORN NOW PLEASE, THANKS!
  
• D'aww, Rory kissed the Doctor, and it was adorable. :) Ok, the Doctor can come to the porn party, too.
  
• The cube that played "The Chicken Dance". I am a fan of that cube.
  
• Rory just kinda wandered onto a spaceship and ended up unconscious. What were they called: universal smelling salts? Genius. This show is the best at packaging expedient plot devices into handy, portable packages.
  
• Brian's pretty awesome. It's too bad he wasn't invited to the wedding... :P
  
• I kinda want a cube now.
  
• The Doctor playing the Wii. ♥
  
• The Amy & Rory kitchen scene!
  
• As per usual, I kinda halucinated and missed the whole point of the invading aliens. I understand that they want to kill everybody because of reasons and this "tally" that must be maintained, but...what is the deal with the tally? At some points it sounded like some sort of omnipotent overlord, and at others they talked like it was some balance sheet that Bob in accounting came up with. What is the tally (The Tally?), where did it come from, etc.? If anyone with a proper attention span wants to explain to me what that whole deal was, I'd be much obliged.
  
• The alien hologram man did look very cool though.
  
• Oh and what was the deal with the weird mouth shapes on the alien henchmen? What is the point of having henchmen who look just like humans down to the last detail, oh except for this scary-ass mouth that looks like the part of a vacuum where you store the attachments?
  
• CREEPY CHILD WAS CREEPY.
  
• I'm also amused by how often conflicts are resolved on this show by simply switching something on or off. Creepy alien drone child? Turn it off. People's hearts have stopped? Turn them back on. NBD.
  
• {Weren't those people, like, dead for about half an hour at that point? Can you just turn someone back on after that long? Was I hallucinating again and missed an important detail? (This is what happens when you show me Rory in his pants and Amy in a gorgeous, cleavage-baring period dress all in the same episode. I GET DISTRACTED, OK???)
  
• ALL THE ADORABLE! All of it. I am going to miss the Ponds SO. MUCH.

Next week: There are angels and New York and River and whatnot.

I want to hear ALL THE CRAZY FAN THEORIES about how the Ponds will depart and the rest of the show, provided they are based purely on speculation and NOT AT ALL on spoilers. Please and thank you!
