Moon-lines and Apple-pathways

I thought about not using the random capitalization, because it does give a bit of the wrong impression. She's... she's kind of a confusing act. She's got random capitalization, a ukulele, weird looping, and face paint (which are all things of dubious quality in... most hands)... and turns out really interesting, often-political songs (with an African influence that actually doesn't feel like a front, which causes some interesting cognitive dissonance when you get used to the sound of her voice and then see how very white and midwestern-looking she is). I can see where she'd be a love it or hate it kind of performer, though. I'm pretty fond of My Country off the new album, but I think Lions is still my favorite (Bird Brains is a bit more tuneful than WHOKILL, if you're going to listen to just one of the two albums).
