Those two are the ones I suggest to just about everyone who I think is smart enough to enjoy them. I think they're truly fabulous. I would also suggest Kevin Wilson's Tunneling to the Center of the Earth. It's a collection of short stories that are odd and utterly brilliant. I adore Kevin Wilson. He called me weird after reading a draft of one of my stories and I almost cried with joy.
