I've experienced the same! There are some lists that make me feel all smart and well-read; this one, I hadn't even heard of half of the selections!
YAY DECEMBERISTS! The Hazards of Love is one of my favorite albums ever! I need to read more about the new one; I wonder if it will be thematic as well?
