That's three ticks in the 'win' column for me.

And you know what else makes me happy? THERE IS NOW A HISTORICAL FIGURE KINK MEME! Behold: history_kink. The first prompt made me LOL: "Abe Lincoln/anyone, spanking." Why is that so funny?

Anyway, I am all over this meme! The only disappointing part is that I'm almost positive I'm not a strong enough writer (or historian!) to pull off RPF of serious historical figures. I'll just have to entertain myself with prompting.

I'm still working on scenarios for my prompts, but so far I know I want:

*Harry Houdini in some sort of elaborate bondage fic.

*And, off of a conversation I had with evilhippo a long time ago, I would like a Franz Ferdinand/ Sophie Chotek (his eventual wife) fic. If you don't know the story of FF and Sophie, you can read an abridged version on Wikipedia. It is SO EPIC! They were not allowed to marry, because Sophie was not of a high enough station. FF campaigned for YEARS, and would agree to marry no one else. Finally, they were allowed to marry, provided FF gave up succession rights for his children, and they accepted that Sophie would not share the same rank and priveleges as her husband. She died in the car with him during his assassination in Sarajevo.

IS THAT STORY NOT JUST CRYING OUT FOR FIC? Perhaps an illicit scene from the years before they were allowed to marry...
