So Monday got away from me, guys: I'm sorry! And now I am stricken with a miserable case of spring allergies and/or The Dreaded Lurgy. (Too soon to tell which!)
I have tomorrow morning off, and OH MY GOD DO I NEED IT! So thisMonday's Tuesday's theme is: Music to Chill Out To
I tend to go for soft, quietly sing-able folk-type music when I'm chilling out. (With the occasional bit of gentle electric Euro-pop.) Point is: generally not the word-less instrumental pieces one associates with cheesy yoga classes and meditation CDs.
1. Flunk - "Play"
2. Bon Iver - "Holocene"
3. Alela Diane - "Pieces of String"
4. Sufjan Stevens - "For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fatherless in Ypsilanti"
(Fun Fact: I used to live in Ypsilanti.)
5. Neko Case - "I Wish I Was the Moon"
Want to play along? You can do so here in the comments, or make a post on your own journal. (Leave me a link so I can find it!)
Happy Tuesday, everyone. :)
