I like your music taste. Do you like the new Arcade Fire album? I'm a bit disappointed... But I love Funeral 4EVA. Also, I <3 The Decemberists. Still pissed off that they cancelled the European leg of their tour I had tickets to (not their fault, ill health blah blah, but still!).

The jury's still out on The Suburbs; evilhippo just sent me the MP3s to peruse last week. It usually takes me a long time to get into an album, though. Today on my way to work I was listening to (this band called) The National, and thinking, "I really like them; I should track down their albums." I first started downloading their stuff back in May!

My favorite song is definitely City With No Children.

I <3 The Decemberists SO MUCH; they're on my list entitled "Why the Hell Haven't I Seen These Bands Live Yet?!" The Hazards of Love is one of my favorite albums EVAR, and "The Crane Wife 3" is one of my favorite songs ever.

Man, this meme is really getting me in the mood to talk about music. All day I've been mentally composing my own meme to combine my love of music and my love of making lists. So, ya know; watch out for that! :-)~

The first time I came across The Decemberists was cos a friend had The Perfect Crime #2 on his Myspace (back when people were still using that!), and I thought: wow, that's an awesome song. I really like their stuff. Such ridiculously literate lyrics! It IS quite pretentious, but then so am I.

Last night as I dragged myself in at midnight, I had plans to come back to this post. So sad that I didn't get to put my guesses up since this meme is musically themed.

Oh no! I knew I should have given it a couple of days before posting the answers, but I got too antsy.

When all else fails... inebriation usually works. As to actually mentally preparing you, probably not but blissed out states and happy drunken dreams are a lot better than nightmares.
