I can, to some extent, identify with your kids, what with being hard of hearing myself and dyslexic. Maths has never ever been my strong suit. I'm massively paranoid about it now, worried that SOMEONE might ask me to do maths and I'll just do what I always do and blank out and embarrass myself. You know, one of these days I think I should go to a reminder type class so I don't panic the moment I see a sum. According to the guy that diagnosed me as dyslexic I should have the type of brain that is good at/likes maths. I think he's a lying liar, but now, as it wouldn't be for school,I think I'm likely be a bit... calmer and interested. *ponders*
Wish you were my maths teacher! Can't guarantee I wouldn't throw a hissy-fit, though. ;)
