Oh, good call on Mohicans, which I dislike for a non-literary reason too. For a century, the book was the cornerstone of federal policy re: Native Americans, and well, we know how all that turned out. *sigh* The movie is, as you say, fantastic. Terrific soundtrack too, actually.
