apple_pathways: Whatever floats your boat! (Default)
I've been running at about 1,000,000 MPH lately, and OH MY GOD: please tell me there's an end in sight. Please?

Today, after working all day, we went out to dinner for my father's birthday. I left my purse at the restaurant (VERY unlike me!), and didn't realize until we got home. (The restaurant was about a 30 minute drive from where we live.) Upon discovery, my dad said: "Well, let's go back and get it."

My response (whining): "Do we have to?" (I was relieved when he realized the place would be likely closed and empty by the time we got back there.)

In the midst of all the chaos (I finally finished editing the last of the articles for the latest campaign today), I did manage to write something for [livejournal.com profile] pulped_fictions's short writing challenge, and non-members can read read it up on my blog. Just go to "The Sampler Platter" in the top menu and choose "short writing challenges". (I...really need to find a better way to organize those now that I have more than a handful.

I need to make the rounds and comment on people's journals. That will happen...yeah, soon.

Catch ya on the flipside.
