I don't know, it happened at some point while I was cooking. I opened a bottle of Chardonnay to use in my chicken pot pie, and naturally I had to finish it. It's the only logical conclusion. (Apparently, when I get drunk, I speak French! Mon dieu!)

I was also a bit drunk last night. Delicious sushi dinner (complete with Japanese beer) turned into delicious French dessert (Crème brûlée, a cheese platter, and wine) turned into dancing into the night (red wine and a Bass ale). Good times, great alcohol!

Anyway: I need to sober up and finish my hard-boiled detective story for pulped_fictions. In the meantime, let me level with you:

I KNOW THERE ARE SHERLOCK FANS ON MY FLIST. I met a lot of you through Sherlock communities. And yet: Only a handful of people from my flist have submitted prompts for sherlockmas's "Spring Into Sherlock" festival. Surely this this some gross oversight.

People: PROMPT! PLEASE! There's some good prompts there, but I KNOW YOU CAN DO BETTER! You are my Flist: meaning you are the Chosen Ones, the best and the brightest!

Anyway. Don't make me hunt you down individually. It won't be pretty. (NOTE: when I sober up, feel free to make fun of this post. BUT ONLY IF YOU PROMPT, MM K?)

I'm not sure I believe you. I've never known someone drunk to put all the necessary accents on crème brûlée. (-;

I am a VERY talented drunk! :P

But I'll let you in on my secret: since I have no idea how to type in accents with my keyboard, I just google the term and then copy and paste it, complete with accents, into the entry! Voilà! :P
