I MAY be psychic guys. I was out doing some holiday shopping, and I was looking around the toys and the children's clothing in a department store, thinking about what I was going to get my "nephew" (friend's son) for Christmas. I was looking at the infants' clothing, and thinking: I bet Lauren and Matt are going to have another baby soon. Since I haven't talked to her in awhile, I decided to give her a call right then.

Yep, she's pregnant! I can't wait to see in what other areas my powers will manifest. I just might be pondering my X-Men superhero name in anticipation.

Also, why am I not an old lady yet? While I was talking to Lauren, I came across these long flannel nightgowns with red cardinals on them, and I WANTED ONE SO BADLY! You know the type: covers you from neck to ankles, wide yoke, lace around the sleeves? It just looked so comfy.

Reasons I'm Looking Forward To Being An Old Lady

1. All of my hobbies (cooking, gardening, knitting, crocheting, crafting, etc.) will finally seem normal.
   
2. My long and rambling stories that go nowhere will finally seem normal.
   
3. I can wear ALL ELASTIC clothing.
   
4. I can complain about all of the strange, confusing things that young people do without getting strange looks from people who've noticed I'm in the same age bracket as the people I'm complaining about.
   
5. I can finally say "When I was your age..." without feeling weird.
   
6. I am going to BORE THE SHIT out of people in grocery lines, and there's nothing they can do about it...
   
7. FLANNEL NIGHTGOWNS! ♥ ♥ ♥
   
8. Trips to the casino in an air-conditioned bus.
   
9. BINGO!
   
10. I'm going to feed all the stray cats and give them names of children in the neighborhood. "JACOB, YOU GET OUT OF THERE! No, not you dear...Mr. Jacob Furrybottom has climbed under Mr. Henderson's car..."

Haha, let's play bingo! It's become weirdly fashionable with younger people in the UK (not, like, hipster fashionable...). I've only been to a professional bingo hall once and it was actually quite fun though it moved WAY faster than I expected!

I've only been to a small, senior center-run bingo thing with my grandmother when she was alive. (Well, obviously...it'd be weird if we went when she was dead...)

I love those markers you get to use! Just give me one of those to play with for an hour, and I'll be sorted...
