I agree with all of your points, but I my biggest quibble with LFA has always been tonal-- namely, that the book is divided between "happy" and "sad," very clearly, with little deviation. It's effective, but sloppy.

I've always been a Katherines girl, myself. It's so *elegant* in comparison.
